I'm a huge swiftie. That's not a lie. However Taylor's number one issue in my book is her absolute non-caring for the damage she's done to the planet.

This isn't a coincidence. It's not about stalking. Last week she was caught taking a 40 minute flight, releasing more carbon by herself then most of us do in an entire year.

I love Taylor, but it's shameful that she continues to do this. When she dated Joe the tracker showed she flew back and forth between England and New York on average 3 times a week. A week.

And she doesn't even bother to at least buy offsets or something. She could buy massive swaths of rainforest to preserve to make up for it and it'd barely make a dent. She could replant entire forests.

I love Taylor, but I'm ashamed she's hurting the planet so much without seemingly a care - and now trying to sue the people who expose her for it.

As a Truly Casual Taylor Fan Honest™, I've been amused at just how many news categories she's dominating by not even quite being there. Every macho man in the U.S. is wound up about her either for politics (or rather, the fear that she'll say something about politics) or for football (or rather, the idea that she'll be a distraction from Real Football).

I wish I could find some way to twist all this attention and use it for good evil. I will spare you all the Macho Man GIF, which you know I was thinking about.

Sexually explicit AI-generated images of Taylor Swift have been circulating on X (formerly Twitter) over the last day in the latest example of the proliferation of AI-generated fake pornography and the challenge of stopping it from spreading.

X’s policies regarding synthetic and manipulated media and nonconsensual nudity both explicitly ban this kind of content from being hosted on the platform.

I think it was awful of @nytimes to publish. Triggering for me to read— not because the writer mentioned my nearly ending my life— but seeing a public person’s sexuality being discussed is upsetting.

I think the Gaylors should be ashamed of themselves. They are doing exactly what LGTBQ+ have fought against for decades now - people making assumptions about their own lives and sexuality - but they're masking it because it's Taylor.

I'm in the camp of anything that's not public is just that - not public. Even if it were true (and all signs point to it not being true), then it'd be disrespectful of us to talk about it unless she made it public. Think about it, you're going out of your way to talk about something that she explicitly has hidden from the rest of the world. That doesn't make you a better fan, it makes you a gossip and not an ally.
