In case you're wondering why Trump chose this particular gun store:
They sell cheap shit, lots of right-wing graphics, and you should use a disposable credit card if you shop with them. They sell a huge amount of firearms though, so I really doubt Trump went there as a nod to the racist shooter. They are just a big-ass, well-known firearms supplier.
Yeah I hate Trump, but Palmetto State Armory is a huge vendor. If I bought a gun this year (prior to learning about their right wing nonsense) there's a good chance it would have been from them, and I don't even live in South Carolina.
I understand it's been ongoing for nearly a decade at this point, but I'm still constantly surprised by how open this guy is about his racism, misogyny, etc. while still remaining so fucking popular.
I mean, I understand why. I just hate what it says about a significant percentage of the American people. It's fucking embarrassing.
Racism and misogyny are why he's popular. Multiple studies have shown that is evidently why people voted for him in 2016. I, too, have been ashamed of my fellow countrymen for sinking to such depths. I now consider Republicans and Trump supporters to be my enemies, and not merely people I disagree with politically.
Yeah I know. Hence the second part of my comment.
