how to make comments sort by top by default on lemmy? (monyet.cc)

does such option exist? I found these 2 scripts

but they don't seem to work even after changing the included page to match the url.

If you browse in an app on your phone, most of them support default sorting. I think some of the alternate UIs might do as well such as old.lemmy.world, a.lemmy.world, etc.
