Most of them are only doing it to "trigger the libs" (totally different from the alt-right) and a lot of them are LARPers (totally different from the alt-right), so no they can't stay on one instance, they need an audience to troll properly.
If they actually just cared about socialism they'd be off circlejerking in their own instances about how capitalists are evil and Stalin was a saint, but again that's not why the majority of them are doing it, so they will keep adding new instances and posting across to anywhere that hasn't defederated them, because they want to piss as many people off as possible, and talking shit to "liberals" while being "socialists" is the best way to trigger both (American politics) sides.
The fuck are you on about, the "tankie" instances are the oldest and some of the biggest instances on lemmy.
Also if they cared about wanting to enact socialism they'd be out trying to counter misinformation and procapitalist propaganda which they are doing, not hiding from views they don't agree with like .world do.
Why does them being old or big have anything to do with what I said? We aren't talking about then, we are talking about now.
Also I can't speak for others, but I think socialism is great, screaming at "the libs" constantly and pretending that genocide is cool and ok are my issues with them. You can believe whatever you want but when you start acting like a hateful bastard I don't want anything to do with you regardless of how our political viewpoints align, and it's downright ridiculous to suggest they keep getting defederated because of their politics (which I guarantee most of them don't understand or even believe), its because of their behaviour.

Both you and the original commenter claimed they have to go into other instances to keep trolling people. I'm pretty sure hexbear was still in the top 3 largest instances even after the big surge from reddit and they are at least 3 years old, a lot of that time they were the largest instance while being defederated from everyone. That's great you're a left leaning lib but if we're only talking about now, actual leftists on this platform are the only ones who are calling for the end to genocide in Palestine. Everyone else on here is promoting Israeli propaganda or calling for a return to the status quo in an apartheid state which is not a good look.

Not sure what you're talking about inserting myself, I've been the one arguing with you from the start. My politics are also now very relevant because you made them relevant when you made claimes about me being having the equivalent politics as a trump supporter but for a different negative cause (can I assume you mean anti American here?).
