Man, I am definitely not seeing Teddy, FDR, or Truman level accomplishments out of Biden, whatever one's opinion of him. If he wants to prove me wrong in his second term, I'm willing to re-evaluate, but hold the hagiography for now.

you don't see what Joe has done, that's all.. you're vaguely aware of the general consensus on him, nothing more..

this is how you know for sure there's a great President in office: everything works, and everyone is just a little dissatisfied with the job he's doing... that's because the job is to make sure shit works and take all the heat.. that's why Trump is an anti-President... nothing worked and he's an expert at deflecting blame..

Biden is the best President in decades, but that's because things have been shitty for so long. Carter was the last president who was better than Biden, but people didn't appreciate him, and he certainly wasn't perfect. FDR had some serious negatives, but he accomplished so much. Nixon started the fall into awfulness, with Republicans constantly lowering the bar and Democrats following suit. Democrats have finally stopped moving right and started to move towards something reasonable, and if they're successful, Republicans might be permanently marginalized like in California unless they return to sanity.

For the last 20 to 30 years, every president has been disliked for most of their term. The only reason Bush wasn't was because of 9/11, and the public was dead wrong in their assessment of how well he was doing.
