What do you guys think was the intention with this? I recently had an episode of mania, and was behaving a bit oddly, but I confirmed with my mother (this was her condo I'm renting it) that it wasn't here when she left and I've never seen it before :|

People sometimes do this to scout easy targets to rob.

If it didn't move until their next burglary spree, you probably haven't been home since they planted it.

Put it away and ask around if your neighbours had something out of place in their front yard.

Thought so, I had just been out of town for that solar eclipse in Texas. Pretty wonky experience during totality, felt like the eye of God was looking at me and telepathy-ing me. I went to the EDM festival with a friend of mine that has been a pysche ward nurse in the past and she didn't say anything til I was home for a day. Good chance I didn't notice it until I was doing mania stuff and went "wat this rock".

Perhaps your subconscious has noticed other signs of potential trouble from whoever left the rock, leading to hyper vigilance as a defense measure, which has a lot of overlap with mania.

Your manic episode could have been triggered by the adrenaline and norepinephrine release of the hypervigilant state.
