I wouldn't be so sure of that last part. A huge portion of the military is pro trump. Maybe not the majority, but definitely a plurality.
He's alienated the top people. Gen Mattis was one of the most respected leaders. He worked for Trump and was then let go.

While I can believe that, I also hope that support is kinda spread around and mixed in. So they would find themselves choosing between Trump and loyalty to their unit.
Fine. They’ve taken an oath, and have benefitted from it. They can break it and reap the whirlwind. Or, get their fucking shit together.
