I mean, Ukraine does not have the ability to hold anything or do a sustained push. It would be foolish to try.

Going in, destroying supplies and infrastructure, and then leaving is the smart move unless there are good choke points to hold.

Yeah, I hope that's the plan, otherwise they'll just lose everyone they sent over there. Go in, destroy a bunch of stuff and leave is the smart plan. It'll force Russia to keep substantial amounts of troops in Russia to avoid a repeat, shows they're weak and boosts morale in Ukraine.

Obviously, they can't go all the way to Moscow but Kursk or bust doesn't have the same ring to it.
