From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

I know NVIDIA on Linux is somewhat bad, but this bug has been driving me insane, and it is still not fix as of 535.104.05 my screen flicker even more than the last driver update

I hope this get fix in 540 drivers updates or later, but I'm getting an AMD GPU when I get to build my PC very soon.

Yep, I've just noticed that the "Prefer Maximum Performance" option hasn't actually done the trick 😮‍💨 I swear, its never simple with Nvidia...

It seems like this issue is finally, actually fixed with the new driver release.

I haven't had a chance to try it out but the responses on the thread look promising.

Edit: Ah, I see you've already gotten the news. Well, good to hear.
