Non-socialists are welcome to come to learn, though it's hard to get to in-depth discussions if the community is constantly fighting over the basics. More like they need to make good with you. My parents didn't support me being trans but they decided they would rather have me in their life than have an issue with me being trans. And I don't disown them for voting R. In fact I've made them reconsider a lot of their beliefs by treating them like human beings instead of demons.
