[Defect] after a certain point, comment chains just get cut off. (lemmy.world)

I've noticed a few times that a long comment chain will eventually just cut off and only show the first few comments in the chain.

I'll get a notification that I got a new message but it's impossible to read in the chain. I can only read it from my inbox and it's impossible to respond to. There might be other comments along with mine but I'll never see them unless I go into another app or the browser window

I've had the same thing happen times well. I thought it was a weird Lemmy issue and didn't realize it was an issue with Connect.

Yeah it's definitely a connect thing. I can go to liftoff and find the entire thread. Nothing against connect, it's my favorite lemmy app so far

Hi, thanks for the feedback! This should be fixed on the latest beta. (or hopefully coming live later today).
