This is the “pro-Palestine group are anti-semetic” strawman argument played out in real life. To be anti-genocide/Pro-Palestine does not make one anti-Semitic; it is anti-Semitic to assume all Jewish people support the Israeli State apartheid and to conflate Zionism with Judaism.
But I’m just preaching to the choir here
Reportedly they also felt the need to tell the Jewish protesters they weren't actually Jewish because they weren't pro genocide.
I have some friends who’ve been recently called “self-hating Jews” for the same reason.
I'm so confused, like it's a false flag but using the real actual flag.
