I don't know if I had my expectations too high or what, but after waiting for over a decade, I was a little disappointed with the new album. It's a good album but after such a long time, at least half of which they've apparently been working on the album at least for some part, I just expected something different.

I dont know this band so didnt know what to expect when I just clicked. Reminds me a lot of Radiohead meets My Dying Bride.
Oh, haha, now that I listen to this song once you've said that I can hear that. Check out the 'Maaäet' (Earth mother) album, it's their masterpiece. They used to be a lot darker and folkier and less post rocky. Which is fine really. Their singer has a deep, low singing voice usually, not sure if he sings on this one. There's still a bunch of folky stuff on the new one as well.
Thanks I'll give that a listen. I'm a Roy Harper fan so its no big step.
