I don’t generally encourage civil lawsuits, but it’s time for the Faheys to sue the author, publisher, and whoever else into oblivion.

5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials or celebrity gossip is allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

MODERATORS
I'll encourage civil suits whenever they're appropriate, which is far more often for the little guy and far less for the privileged and wealthy.
This is definitely an appropriate time.
My quality of life would be a lot better if I had not had the misfortune of being born to a mother who did not fully vaccinate me and my siblings because she fell for this nonsense. Anyone spreading antivax propaganda should be criminally charged because this bullshit is seriously damaging.
As I told my kids doctor, "I want them to have all the vaccines. I want them to be able to walk in a 3rd world sewage and like Moses parting the waves all the pathogens will flee in terror , creating a pathway. Can you do this for me?"
My personal philosophy is to treat vaccines like Pokemon: gotta catch 'em all (so that you don't catch the disease instead). Any time someone offers me a vaccine, I take it.
If you get them all you are legally allowed to walk around Central Park with a sign that reads "touch me and be cleansed"
I want to work in emergency medicine when I'm done with medical school and emergency room patients will just cough straight into your face no matter what they have. Even without COVID, I'll probably keep wearing an N95.
That's an easy cease and desist letter right there. Failing that, there could be quite the copyright lawsuit there
Yeah and then then some shyster at the publisher will bring up some asshole court ruling from the 1920s that says that they can do whatever they want. You can't win against these people.
My cousin believed all the anti-vax shit that people like RFK Jr espouse.
He didn't get his kids vaccinated, and his 16yr old son died of Covid.
He STILL supports, and is a fan of RFK Jr and his anti-vax shit. It's kind blowing.
Cause if he admits he was wrong, then he's also admitting to killing his kid.
It's easier to just say it wasn't his own fault.
