I would argue both parties are the same as the left at this point (and always have been). Both are bloodthirsty, corporate, ruling class parties committing horrific acts of austerity and genocide.

In practical terms I agree, in terms of branding libs are still running around saying that democrats are the party of least harm.
Dems are very entrenched with American exceptionalism. When I visit reddit the yanks always come up with kill Putler and hamas like a repetitive parrot. And oh always scaremongering about Trump's era 🤣 , it's like Trump was an alien from outer space. I mean bro, he is a product of your society only.
They get very upset when you point out that people like Trump have always been around and the real question is why people like Trump are all of a sudden becoming politically relevant. What is causing people to increasingly lose faith in the liberal system and turn to opportunists. Could it possibly be the fact that the material conditions are rapidly declining.
That's the thing, that's also with European garden. They always think Europe and US have the best "white" People and so on.
