On 6 the water seems like it was painted by a brush, was it an upscaling issue?

Depends on your setup, I used to have 4 cameras that only saved when motion was detected and they filled 1tb in about a month.

Sadly the car registration and other car related taxes, don't even cover the costs of maintaining car infrastructure. So it's no even a good reason.

I've been using Rawtherapee, just make sure you are using the latest version (5.9) since it added a bunch of functionality.
