Driven plenty, still hate them.
Typically, for me, it’s been a situation where the guy was really physically attractive, but a an absolutely horrible person.
I’m really not sure why you’re getting downvoted for this. It’s true. Whether people think it’s “tasteful” or not doesn’t change reality.
I grew up in San Diego, so huge marine and navy population. There are a handful of bars that are super fun to people watch at (typically JUST off base) for this exact reason. Alcohol and desperation make interesting bedfellows.

Extreme Relaxation represents a unique experience for individuals to determine their relaxation skills in the face of adversities and stressors. Each player in the Extreme Relaxing Championships is equipped with a HR monitor given time to establish a relaxed baseline. During the competition, individuals will be asked to relax while being presented with a series of distractions, the individual with the smallest amount to change from their relaxed baseline will be deemed the winner.

I've never seen those in person, but after an image search, yeah, exactly. I only used starbucks as an example because they are everywhere, and most people have seen them before.
And you can buy bent straws in multiple materials, which are not intended to be disposable.
This comment thread is about disposable/plastic straws. I have been talking about getting rid of plastic/disposable straws in every comment. I never implied I was talking about reusable. I didn’t know I needed to be so pedantic.
No, as I have said in MULTIPLE other comments. Straws exist in other flavors than plastic or disposable. Non disposables also come in a variety of shapes. People can use those. Where did I say they shouldn’t have something they need.
Like I also said in another comment, people who “need” straws now all just died of dehydration before plastic/disposable straws existed?
