I haven't ever used it, never signed a petition, but isn't change.org only about petitions? I can kinda see their reasoning.. They may even have had their hand forced to do it.

Loads of people who want their way probably signed up with tons of accounts to skew the results. If it's going to work, I guess they need to be able to show that they're legit, out at least that change.org are doing their best to make it that they are.

It's easy to set up one gmail account for example and use it a million times with moving a dot throughout the name or putting a plus sign and anything after the username but before the @ symbol.

Doc Martens are not a good buy for a while now. Standards of quality have dropped loads and my nephew has had two pairs fall apart from the DM store in the last 8 months. Red Wing, Thorogood, Solovair among others, but avoid Doc Martens when buying for life.

Definitely not blocking here.. but.. I have to ask. Which takes precedence, YouTube's T&C's or EU law?

Your usage of the word "terrorists" is misdirected. The real terrorists are the Israel Nazis that are Pro apartheid and have been blanket bombing innocent civilians for over two weeks (in the case if the current situation). Over 7000 dead, almost half of them children. Displacing millions, rounding millions up to a safe area and then bombing them. Disgusting.

Whatever happened to zeronet? Wasn't that supposed to do that with many services as well as the whole thing in general?

I'm guessing it just never got enough users.

What's realistically the closest to YouTube today? Like Lemmy, small acorns need bigger communities 😁 Slow, but it'll happen. It's also not a bad thing to have people used to switching platforms every x amount of years. That aside, does a VPN work, or Newpipe?

I'm in EU, not getting any ads yet on Firefox or Newpipe.

It doesn't even have to be the edge 40. I think many of the motorola phones have roms and xda subs. The edge 30 or the G82 for example.

You should also look at the Motorola edge 40 range. Can all be flashed and last two Motos I had, they still have a decent community with channels on Reddit. Start on xda https://xdaforums.com/f/motorola-edge-40-pro-moto-x40-china.12731/

I'm not doubting that the shield TV would be a superior box. But just that I wouldn't buy a used one, and for the money the Nokia box is a great box, well built until OP can decide to buy a new shield or at least wait until new shield is mentioned or released.

First of all, they are in a museum that's only free to visit of you live near that museum. They are already stolen. For the rest of the world that actually owns them, they already metaphorically have 'some rich asshole who got them and put them on their yacht never to be seen again'.

For many of the countries that own them, there will be thousands of inhabitants that may never be able to afford to travel to the UK to view them. It's unlikely that the British museum will ever tour with them, as once they arrive in almost any country, they will likely stake a claim to have their property back.

This can only be a bad thing.

They will win and like live nation, will merge with more well placed companies until they are printing their own money.

So they want help stealing back the stuff that they stole in the first place.

Many countries would probably pay the 'thieves' to have them back where they belong.
