I'm doing my part. I read that cows are a huge contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, so I eat as many of them as I can.

There have always been bigots, small town small minded people who don't "know any gay people" but there was that one skinny boy in their class that didn't like sports so he was bullied until he left town at 18. And now, that generation of bigots is finally dying out. Not only due to age but due to an increased connection with the greater world. A small town bigot might not know any LGBT people personally but they are aware of their existence, due to television and the Internet. So quietly ignoring people who are different than you doesn't work anymore. And a dying animal fights harder than ever.

These death throes are useful to the owner class. But they are still dying out. And if we can exterminate capitalism and figure out a way to survive in a post-warmed globe, we might just see the end of (this particular type) of bigotry.

Harris will move the needle to the right, or at the very best, merely slow down the rate at which the needle moves to the right. The Toupee will pull the needle off and stab people with it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm voting for the lesser evil, again, but it is extremely disheartening.

And if you wait for a pause to interject, you'll also not be paying attention to anything else they say because you're focused on what you have to say.

True. What the image should say is Capitalism is hell for autistic people. And non-autistic people. And all other people. Capitalism is really only not hell for those born wealthy.

You laugh now, but wait until the entire population of New York and Florida are knocking at your door. That is, the population that doesn't see the writing on the wall and leave for Colorado first.

It's less brainwashing, and more that minimum wage hasn't gone up in that time, but cost of living has skyrocketed.

If it's an important phone call I usually ask the other person to email me with all the details we talked about. I usually make up some excuse about being out running errands so I can't take notes but it's 95% that their phone call woke me up and 100% that I don't ever remember anything said in a phone call.

That's actually exactly why it's a bad cleaning agent, at least for sterilization purposes. It evaporates before it can kill any microbes.
