Where it gets dangerous, is giving up actual real working medication in place of a placebo.
I'd first heard of it yesterday when I saw it recommended here somewhere.
However, I wouldn't assume maliciousness over incompetence. It is Google after all... Anybody who has ever published anything on there has probably had it removed at some point. There's so many malicious apps and spurious reports, it could honestly be anything. The smaller your app, the longer it takes for an actual human to get involved and sort it out.
There was a viral one a awhile ago, and it was just a load of photos of his smashed up car that he'd taken for insurance purposes.

If I was an evil peripheral manufacturer, I'd not only add keys to copy and paste, but I'd add them to the mouse too.
Then I'd have a small display in the keyboard that showed the last five things you copied, and let you select which one you'd paste.
That way users would get used to it, have to buy my gratuitously expensive peripherals with displays in them for no reason, and then not know how to use anything else.
Canned mine the day they announced ads in Prime Video.
They'd already ruined the music service earlier in the year.
And by the time you've been through all those, your grandparents have forwarded it to you on Facebook with a Minion picture on it and "Something needs to be done!!!! 😡😡😡" written under it.

It doesn't help when airlines split people up for not paying the "don't get split all over the fucking plane" charge.
Then you end up with kids running between parents and standing all over people.
Honestly fuck airlines for making basic things an optional extra. It costs them literally nothing to sit a family all together.
I watched some Gal Gadot movie recently, where she got on a motorbike in the far north of Iceland (Isafjordur airport) and rode to Reykjavik opera house in a matter of minutes. I'd consider both of these places to be somewhat landmarks as well.
But it didn't ruin it for me because it was terrible long before that. Arguably at the script and casting stages.

There's no reason for mobile OS's to be flaky like this. There's nothing magic about either that means old stuff can't be supported. It's just that trillion dollar corporations apparently can't afford the resources.
