Awesome! Now do it to keep the cops from being able to force you to unlock your phone under duress.

I agree, not necessarily that I like hearing about other people's dreams, but that I think people should be more willing to actively listen when someone talks about their dreams.
I don't necessarily like hearing other people's dreams, but I do like talking about my own dreams, so I will listen. While dreams aren't real, what happens in dreams can effect people because it is still something they experienced, and talking about stressful situations is a great way to let go of any negative feelings associated with the experience.
The US could easily match what China’s doing
Not with the unions in the US they can't. Part of the reason China is able to produce cheap cars is because they have cheap labor.
When the pandemic started I went to Staples and bought a new chair for home. I spent around $120 and 3 months later I was looking for a new chair. I asked some friends and the top recommendation was SecretLab chairs. I ordered one for around $550 and it's pretty good, however sitting in it for 8 hours is a bit much (it's wonderful for a few hours of gaming though). Then last year I started a new job that required me to be in-office and the chair I have is an Affirm series by Om (https://www.omseating.com/series/affirm-series/). I can sit in this chair all day without any issues.
Jobs are going to be lost
And it is now a self-fulfilling prophesy because a lot of people just lost out on working on his studio expansion project.
Same, I'm with State Farm and meet with my agent every few years to make sure my coverage makes sense. The last time I met with her she was able to get me better coverage for what I need at a lower monthly cost. My rates have gone up and down a little over the years, but nothing major in either direction.
Have they said how many rounds the woman was able to get off before she was killed? I'm starting to wonder if the answer is 0.
How would that work then? College professors would be government employees, paid by the government to teach? That's the current setup for K-12 and I think most people agree that teachers don't really get paid all that well.
I see nothing wrong with having higher education come with a higher price tag. If schools are charging enough tuition to afford to pay for great instructors then students are going to learn more and will be better off after graduation. There should be safeguards in place so that if your school fails you (or even if you fail your school) it doesn't ruin your life. But I see no problem with having a requirement that your repayment schedule be based on your annual pay, and if after a set amount of time (10-20 years) you have made regular payments but still owe, then the rest gets forgiven.
We don't need to get rid of student loans, we need to get rid of interest on student loans. The government should not be making money off of students trying to get an education.
“Their safety as food has not been verified,” the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety said
If it isn't safe as food, then I don't think it should be considered safe to go into your mouth.
I swore off buying 'new' games close to their release dates because I was sick of overpriced, unfinished games that are just trying to squeeze every cent out of me. Then BG3 came out and everyone raved how great it was, but I stuck to my principles and said I'd play it a year or so after its release. Then someone pointed out to me that the game plays well, has no charge for online play, doesn't have microtransactions, and is complete. So I bought it, figuring that this is the type of game we should be rewarding, and I've not been disappointed.
Except it isn't just a name change because with this change you can no longer use it for person to person payments.
