My 6.5yo is playing it with me and he loves it. We got the DLC edition or whatever and are level 50 about to play the final boss of the main game, haven't reached the Stronghold yet or any of the DLC.

There's a bit of a learning curve, but so far I've been able to teach my son that Green(Rare) and Orange (Unique) are better than Common (Grey). For items and gear, higher level items are almost always better, for pools of mobs he's better off kiting and using ranged attacks.

He can't read much yet, so I have to explain what the enchantments are and he'll upgrade if he likes them.

I like the game way more than Minecraft Legends.

The DoD will soon be requiring itself and Contractors to start following Rev 5 of the NIST SP 800-53 Risk Management Framework. In this revision are more robust controls for Supply-side security, which the DoD has been trying to incorporate for over 10 years.

Americans should know that the military and DOD and it's contractors do their best to purchase authentic hardware from reputable vendors, but there are exceptions and alternate procurement allowances if the need is great and the standard more secure lines are unavailable or simply on back order.

It's usually then that some of the fake hardware makes it into use

Great app, just wish they had a radar.

Also for my American brethren that also use Freedom units, you might have to set speed, temperature, volume, pressure measurements to something our smooth brains can understand:

I had to mess around in Android/Samsung settings to give it permissions to run in the background.

I actually have a multiple choice question on my General User training that goes something like:

If someone attempts to elicit classified information from you, and a heated argument erupts, what action should you take?

A) Inform Company Security of the event

B) Provide a non-answer and defer or distract from the current line of questioning

C) Prove them wrong by giving them the classified information

D) A & B

So far no one has chosen C, thankfully.

Me @27 IT is boring and the wages suck, I lack human empathy so I'll try Defense Contracting

Me @36 Well the money is great, but the risk of Engineers spilling national security secrets every day is stressful AF.

A horseshoe crab is fucking gnarly, bro. You see this brown, almost crescent/spherical object with a pointy tail skuttling along innocuously at the bottom of the shallows, and moving at a decent pace. It's so different from anything else you'd expect to see with the tides, and much larger too. Bigger than any crab, bigger than most fish that like to hang at that shallow depth. You might even mistake the two round black dimples in it's carapace for eyes, and like the comical depiction find it...cute?

It looks fairly non threatening, and has a poor reaction time. So like any kid you pick it up by it's tail, and then, "HOLY FUCK!" Nightmare fuel, as you look under it's carapace at the many legs writhing underneath like some Cthulhu fever dream.

You put it back down in the water and continue to let it do it's thing.

I've had that experience a couple times, but I've never witnessed these things breeding before. My Mom who was an Environmental Chemist for the EPA saw these things breeding once, and it's like a giant migration for these crabs to the shallows and shore. We're talking absolutely hundreds of them coming to fuck in some nasty orgy and peace back out to sea.

Certainly one of the weirdest, coolest and oldest creatures on Earth.

As someone who watched millions of Texans cheer on Trump as he actively antagonized the wildfire situation in California, I would like to extend thoughts and prayers to Texans as they go through this trying time.

Good thing Biden will extend disaster aid to Texas without any fanfare or ridicule because it's his fucking job to support the U.S.

If you're gonna pay for Antivirus, shout out to ESET NOD32.

They have gotten a bit expensive though. I'm buying a 1 year sub for $10 on Black Friday.
