@NewsJunkie

I'd be curious to see footage of the wave, but there's no act of nature (and nothing on earth, really) that would make me want to watch even the briefest clip from a TV newscast.

Just a brief moment of retrospective reality: Until Trump, had there ever been any ex-President publicly demanding apologies from the incumbent?

At least in my long life, the answer is no. Because all of them, despite all their faults, had some slight touch of class Trump knows nothing about.

It's the Republic of Gilead.

So fucking infuriating. Everything that ever made an American flag not worth burning seems to be over and done with.

Report a spammer once, for the good of the community, and then block the 'user'. Problem solved. :)

North Korea seems an odd place to escape to, especially after this poor schmo delivered "a profanity-laced tirade against Koreans." He probably won't be sending post cards to friends and family in America, but what the heck, I sincerely wish him a happy life in his new home.

Can the sane states defederate from Florida?

Climate change isn't even mentioned in the coverage, though it's clearly a major contributing factor:

Such floods, known as glacial outburst floods, happen when glaciers melt and pour massive amounts of water into nearby lakes.

There, see? Under 110° — climate change has been beaten!

Destruction such as this will never again be uncommon.

This as a sneak preview not many years into the future, when there'll be no workable supply chains at all, as climate change wreaks hellish havoc everywhere, consistently.

Excellent. More like this, please.
