Arguably, whether this turns out decent or atrocious may depend, in part, on whether it’s a straight adaptation of the games (removes sensory elements that games and film don’t have in common, causing serious issues); or if it’s something that would fit better in a film, albeit taking place in Hyrule.

It may also depend on whether portions of the production team actively dislike the source material (cough cough Netflix Witcher cough cough)

Didn’t think the modern-day incarnation of Atari even had interest in games anymore. I could’ve sworn an entirely unrelated company bought the name when the original Atari died out.

Was that autocorrect, or deliberate wordplay?

Why is Microsoft, of all groups, monitoring Valve’s profits? That seems kinda weird to me, as though it’s overstepping some sort of boundary.

Yeah, I might have to delete Twitter just to get away from political ads.

I subscribed to YouTube premium specifically to avoid political adverts while still supporting content creators (political adverts are even more repetitive and uncreative than commercials, in my mind), and I actively avoid any room my parents are in when they’re watching any TV at all during campaign season.

I’ll get my info on how to vote by actually looking up the candidates’ actions on databases, thanks.

Is the Irish Sun owned by the same guys as the British version of The Sun? If so, I probably would look for other sources entirely. Preferably far, far away from the “games journalism” sphere.

Also, we can and do eat some mild poisons because they’re tasty somehow.

I have a love of chocolate, but smaller animals can’t eat as much without severe metabolic issues that might kill them.

And capsaicin is straight-up an anti-mammal deterrent. Birds might be able to eat it with no reaction at all. Meanwhile humans just deal with their temperature receptors being freaking hacked for seemingly no other reason than fun.

When I was a kid (or perhaps a teenager), I distinctly remember at one point believing the universe was around 18 billion years old, but I can’t remember where my memory would’ve gotten that estimate prior to more modern estimates.

Fair point. If so, it’s probably putting the update I’m downloading in the removable drive because I only have 21 gigs of free space, maybe, left on the SSD when its max capacity is almost a terabyte.

For example, assuming Philip III of France had had a court jester, how would such a profession deal with the topic of Isabella of Aragon getting into a horse crash, basically miscarrying on the spot, and dying?
