The unpleasant reality is ~~Russians, like the Chinese~~ Americans have never, in all their long history, existed without authoritarian rule. They are culturally inured to it. They actively seek it. They’re broken, as a society, and only dissolving their society will cure them.

"Competition is good because it leads to cheaper prices for consumers", doesn't really work since it neglects the union of the state and monopolies to artificially charge higher prices for items of the same - even worse quality; while hindering competition that has the potential to change the status quo.
I mean—the US is trying to prevent the world from cooperating with China, Russia and other major economies because they know that they are incapable of competing due to their decades-long crusade of neoliberalism. Another example is the fossil fuel industry stalling for time against the wave of the renewable energy era; or the automobile industry lobbying against efficient public transportation.
The point is that the major neoliberal powers don't want competition to exist; they just want rent-seeking sectors that can earn them a treasure trove of money as fast as possible.
The QBZ-191 is the most recent standard issue rifle for the PLA.
Here's to hoping that Europe can separate from the US and integrate with Eurasia 🥳
I don't really understand what's going on. Just recently, Japan was pushing for its inclusion into NATO and ramping up its military; meanwhile, they seem to be increasingly interested in distancing itself from the US, such as steadily dumping its US treasury holdings. In any case, I hope that this ends for the better and that the US-Japan relationship can finally be dismantled.
The House Financial Services Committee just held a meeting around a month ago discussing the very real global trend of dedollarization and how the US can mitigate or even reverse the trend. Keep in mind that this committee is responsible for overseeing the Federal Reserve and Treasury, so it was a pretty high-level meeting.
I'm not rejecting the validity of the struggle of LGBT+ people. I'm simply giving an observation I made and lightly commenting on it.
I've read various comments on Reddit and Lemmygrad stating that the LGBTQ+ movement is heavily pushed by the state to provide a distraction to the workers from their economic immiseration.
I don't know how true that conjecture is, but it does feel really unsettling how much the imperialists are pushing for it.
This is a paraphrase of a comment that I posted on Reddit some time ago:
