Oof, 41°C / 106°F with 80+ humidity is brutal. I can just imagine little to no winds and that air just sitting. I plan on visiting Japan someday but am definitely avoiding going during the peak summer months.

Keep a copy of your prescription so you can buy glasses online for cheap.
Glasses fog up when you go from cold to warm. Clean the lens with soap water and wipe them off to keep them from fogging up. Or use good ol fashioned spit.
Check the screws and whatnot on the hinges periodically. Sometimes they go loose. Depends on the glasses.
They help keep rain and midges away from your eyes, so that's nice.
The nosepads get dirty too, so wipe em down every now and then.
If you play sports and you don't care for contacts, or if you swim, think about getting prescription googles. 100% worth it.
Take them off on the rollercoasters. Put them in your pocket or something.
Buy a spare pair in case of emergencies. This is equivalent to not having a plunger when you need one. You're gonna regret it!
Holy heck some of you guys are artistic! xD
This one's really good!
That is crazy. Nice work! :D
That's weird! I go on Lemmy daily and it's been feeling a lot busier IMO.
He totally is! I've noticed Blaze's posts a bunch -well assuming he goes by the same name lol. He's doing a great job at shepherding and getting the info out there. @[email protected]
Also I took a peek at some of threads discussing the paywalls and noticed there seems to be increased awareness about Lemmy, dare I say interest😆
Reactions and side effects are dependent on the person. I'm healthy so I don't typically take medications but this was my experience on Strattera, which you're supposed to take with food. That warning was no joke. I had to take it with a meal, because I'd risk feeling queasy with only a snack. But at low doses, it was fine. Very manageable.
As my dose was increased, the nausea started becoming constant. I couldn't do anything to relieve it. At one point I was at a restaurant and had to go throw up in the restroom. After that I decided to stop taking Strattera, because the nausea made for a miserable experience and was not worth it at all. I was instantly better once I stopped.
Can't imagine there are too many moms on Lemmy lol
I think she sounded great in her recent speech in Dallas. Presidential, energetic, refreshing. Started laying into Trump a bit past the halfway point.
Late autumn sounds perfect actually and it coincides with my birthday. I enjoy the immersion so I'd go for at least a month, hopefully longer if my job can allow it. :D
