Now that's how you're supposed to eat a waffle!

Runelite, is the one and only program I've found that does not do that and I hate it.

I also feel supermods and toxic mods are two different things that should be treated as such. Both can pose problems, but they do not have to go hand in hand.

Is it? I don't like shorts and I don't like them cluttering up my feed. On desktop I can simply turn them off with an extension. On mobile, I'll constantly get bombarded by content I don't care for with no way to turn it off. So yeah, i hope not

God, I hope not

Maybe consider posting your recipe over on [email protected] it's a good place show more people your recipe

That's basically how NASA crashed a spaceship, so you can be forgiven as well :)

Lemmy is still really niche, but we're growing every week and with every update. even if they're a bit slow sometimes, its worth it

Honestly, trees could only be nicer if the made the literal oxygen we breathe. Oh, wait...

Nothing too interesting really. That being said:

DO YOU WANT A SNEAK PEAK INTO THE LIFE OF MY CAT?

Well, here is your chance! I've created [email protected] ( or !jackyTheCat if that doesnt work) exclusively to share pictures of my silly and usually grumpy cat Jacky.

Join me and share my suffering in being the owner of this cute fuzzball

Just tuna, tomato and spring onion on a sea salt Ciabatta, topped with a sweet balsamic glaze.

I'm extremely European so don't have any prior experience making kimchi, but I feel a lot of recipes I find online are rather westernised.

Kinda looking for someone their grandma's kimchi recipe.

Hi folks,

I recently came across a comment where someone wished there was a AskCulinary community here on Lemmy.

Surprised there wasn't one already and knowing that I'm a professional cook who never gets bored of talking about the business, cooking and just food in general, I obliged and made one.

You can find it here

Yes, I know it doesn't have much yet, but I'm working on it. In the mean time, please feel free to post all your cooking and food related questions there. I'm definitely not all knowing, but until the community grows somewhat I'll make sure to answer all posted questions to the best of my abilities.

Hope to see you there and happy cooking!!

I'm asking because it's a very normal thing to do here.

When you enter a room, but also things like a hairdresser or say a small cafe, you say hello to the people there and say goodbye when leaving. Or when taking a bus, you say hello to the driver and goodbye or thank him when getting off.

I was only recently told by some online friends of mine that this is pretty weird in other places. So I'm wondering if I'm (or my country) is the weird one or them

I seriously wanna know. Did ya'll do something interesting? Did something happen? Anything else you wanna share?
