I bet you could find a recipe for duck that uses soy, I think that would be pretty tasty! The sweet and acidic from the balsamic and honey goes very well with the pasta in this recipe so if you’re definitely pairing it with that, the vinegar/hoisin would probably be my preference. You do you though and whenever you make it, let us know how it goes!

The only thing I did different was I made my own broth with the duck neck/giblets instead of the vegetable broth.

Also sorry this is late... I was hardly at my computer at all yesterday.

 

Every now and then my grocery has a frozen duck with the chickens/turkeys so this is a kinda special/unusual meal for me. I do a honey, lemon, balsamic glaze on the duck and it comes out delicious. The recipe I follow is here!

I have one of these in my fridge! I'm planning on cooking it sous vide though. The bark doesn't get quite as good but it is so easy and tender when it's done.

Also Beehaw does not allow users to create their own communities. It helps the communities we have keep more users and activity without having tons of small ones with hardly anyone participating. They add more every once in a while, but for now, you're in the right place!

 

Bacon and blue cheese with a bit of mayo and mustard! I pressed a bunch of patties and froze them last week, and just cooked the beef from frozen. Tasted great!

I prepped and froze a bunch of smash burger patties last week so we’ll be having burgers at some point. I like bacon and blue cheese on mine. Might do some tater tots on the side.

We've been playing Camel Up a lot. It's nice because there is some skill and a good amount of luck involved, so no matter your board game experience, you have a shot at winning.

Agricola is my favorite but it is pretty complex so we don't play much.

Made these this last weekend, it was my dog’s birthday and she loves stuffed kongs, so I made us all a human version! I melted cheese on top at the end but I didn’t get a pic of that. The yellow ones are a vegetarian version.
