Idk if it was just a rumor so please correct me, but I heard just buying it can put you on a no fly list? Either way I got a copy with my dad's card, cause he was an alcoholic and I knew he wasn't gonna fly anytime soon lol

That's a defeatist mentality

I love this analogy

You have a point, but the world keeps getting crazier. In addition some people currently in power, and some formerly but potentially in the future as well, seem to have an "If I can't have it no one can!" Attitude

Totally a possibility, I just try not to think about Trump.

Just waiting with my popcorn to see which country actually starts WWIII. Will it be the Russians, North Korea, China, or will the underdogs of Canada/India come out ahead? Currently the first three are about at equal odds with Russia just barely coming in first. We should take bets.

For me I was about 13-14, raised really religiously so the first time I said fuck I was sure I was gonna be struck down in the next 48 hrs.

Not arguing here, all your points are correct, just sharing why I have a big scary dog. He's half GSD, quarter american pit (not xl) and quarter American staffordshire. I got him for two reasons, 1) I have a first floor patio in a bad neighborhood and he's got a great guard insinct, and 2) he's a big baby and makes a great emotional support animal (ptsd anxiety and ASD). I don't need protection, I just need a buddy to scare off the crackheads who have tried to walk into my appartment just because I wanted some fresh air and left the door open. He loves everyone, but oh boy if I don't let you in myself you're in for one hell of time. I've raised dogs all my life, knew what I wanted, and what I was getting into. That is unfortunately not the case 90% of the time and it pisses me off when I see it. Honestly I would love to require people get a liscense to own a dog (let alone have children)

Forgot to mention big hardware stores should have them if you're nervous about ordering it online, though it can always be sent to a friend's if you got some good ones

Idk if links are allowed here, but look up Security bar or Kick bars for doors. Amazon has some from 15 usd to 40 usd. Shouldn't be visible as it goes under the door knob like the way one might use a chair. It still might let her open it far enough for a better look into the room but she's gonna have to fight a door secured with a metal bar to actually get in. Works on most carpeted and smooth floors.

Never had a dog try to climb trees before. He actually got a few feet up climbing kinda like a bear!
