I agree, that is the reality, but by only calling out Dems its implying Repubs are different. To me that is the apparent purpose of this meme.

"Oh, Dems turn a blind eye to genocide in Palestine" true, but Repubs do as well. Its almost the whole of US Congress that is complicit.

You are being purposefully obtuse if you think this mean isnt attempting to put Dems in a spot where Repubs arent.

There is no such implication.

Yes there lmao. Otherwise the meme would have "US GOVT" at the bottom, but by only calling out Dems its trying to imply that the only other viable party is somehow different.

And liberals/dems/the left know this. They either support Israel too or are outspoken against it, hence the protests that are ignored or demonized by the media.

This argument is hilarious with the intended implication that Republicans would somehow be different. Both Dem and Repub support Israel and the arms deals. Dems are still far better for the US though

I wish they didn't support Isreal with weapons but here we are

This kind of concept is in Brandon Cronenbergs' film Antiviral

I honestly don't understand why anyone uses chrome or chromium based browsers over Mozilla with privacy plug-ins.

This scene has nothing to do with car-centric city design

I prefer to think of it as "the only way out is through" or "the only path is forward."

For some problems it won't matter how people feel or even who is at fault. What matters often is how you begin to work through it. Once you're out of the hole you can reflect.

Lemmy seems to be incredibly slow, 2+ second delay in any action through lemmy.world even after restarting the browser. it wasnt like this the other day but now its basically unusable. Any suggestions?
