My localisation went weird after the last upgrade too. SDDM shows ?? as my locale now, instead of Australia

The Sixth Sense. I didn't predict the twist because I didn't know it had a twist, so when it dropped, it absolutely delivered.

Same with Memento, but less so, because I was actively trying to work out what was happening. The twist caught me by surprise, but I knew some sort of reveal was coming

The photo is taken from near the base of the Kangaroo Point side of the Captain Cook bridge, showing the curve of the river, with Brisbane City on the left bank, and the Kangaroo Point cliffs visible on the right bank.

It spent a long time circling the drain, but then they spent money on it. The cinema re-opened, and they built a whole new open air dining and bar precinct on the upper level near the cinema. That got it bustling again, and it felt alive for the first time in a long time.

And then the covid lockdowns happened. And then the flood.

And that was the end of that...

I much prefer clip ons to transitions. Transitions left me with white circles over my eyes in summer, when every other part of my face tanned except where the glasses sat. I also couldn't turn them off when needed.

The camera I use has a built in AI model that identifies birds and auto focuses on them super fast to enable moments just like this!

I grew up around the Moree/Narrabri area

I can't think of any such monuments (aside from Anzac ones) in my home town or the nearby towns. But I grew up in NSW, not QLD. I don't know how they compare

The area they are in used to be entirely inside the centre, but is now exposed to the elements due to the intervening walls being torn down. Construction machinery is visible in the foreground

Taken with our new OM-1 MkII and M.Zuiko 100-400mm. I LOVE this camera!

How do non explicitly installed package dependencies get updated in Arch? Do they update independently of the package that is dependent on them, or do they get updated when the parent package updates? Or is it some secret third thing?

Thanks!
