I think they just mean that it's not necessary for playing the game. It isn't like if you know the lore then you can find a secret cave, that gives you access to extra content. It is there for its own sake.

The value add that it gives is entirely dependent on the individual. It would be nice if there was some gameplay reward for reading it.

She's a millionaire, so not a lot of support for her.

There's a lot of that in the software world. I'm thinking of gimp.

It's really hard to imagine a world without Git. If it hadn't been invented I think it would have been necessary to create it it's one of those things that's hard to imagine and then impossible to work out how you can survive without it.

Yet the vast majority of the world probably don't even know what it is, and wouldn't even understand it if it was explained to them.

I don't think they were prioritizing one group over the other I think they just did two things at the same time there's more than like five cops you know.

I would love it if the world would be a better place but I don't think the way just stop oil protesters are going about it is helping anyone including themselves. Totally understand why they're arrested.

Wikipedia has needed a plugin to be usable for a very long time. That Plugin gives you dark mode, on top of a bunch of other necessary features.

They were never the nerds though. They were never the ones actually implementing anything, Zuckerberg is probably the most talented out of all of them, they were always just the ones swinging the cash around.

He definitely looks like a Dustin doesn't he? He definitely looks like the sort of person that would have a podcast and as a result of that podcast is currently been sued by 40 different people.

I used to work in a Michelin star restaurant very briefly, and it's mostly just about presentation. The food was definitely good enough high quality but you could also get good high quality food from non-michelin star restaurants, if you paid enough.

Anyway all the kitchen staff used to go to McDonald's for their lunch, which tells you everything you really need to know about Michelin restaurants. You can get sick of fancy food.

One of my cats will come and yell at me to demand food. He will sit next to me while I am working and meow constantly, in the saddest most pathetic way possible. Eventually I will get up and come downstairs with him, we go into the kitchen where his food bowl is. The food bowl has loads of food in it, he hasn't checked, he's just assumed that there won't be any, and has come to complain.

He does this all the time.

Substitute that with human then if it harms your sensibilities

When you reveal a spoiler the black rectangles go away and it then renders the text in white, but on a white background (light coloured theme) The text renders is exactly the same colour as the background and so you can not see it unless you highlight the post, this renders the background of the post as light grey and there is just about enough contrast difference to now read the text.

When spoiler text is revealed it should render in the same colour as normal text. I'm not sure why it's white.

See images below for demonstration.

spoiler text is hidden

spoiler text has been revealed but is invisible

text post is highlighted and now you can see the spoiler text rendered in white
