That's the level of potential preservation we're missing out on here. Not just the final product, not just the stems, but the full original raw takes and the mixes that made those takes into the original final products.

I gave it a listen the day it dropped. Initial impression is that it's yet another masterpiece and they have neither slowed nor stagnated, but I really need to relisten to their full discography to contextualize it and give it a proper comparison/ranking.
There's a series of novels kinda based around that idea. Magic 2.0 is the name of the series. Basically various hackers from different time periods discover a file that controls the whole universe and learn how to edit it with code/macros and become wizards because of it
