I mean there’s a time and a place.

What if someone has gamepass or a ton of free games on EGS?

No there isn’t?

A massive fire broke out at an amusement park in western India Saturday, leaving at least 27 people dead, including four children, police said.

The fire occurred at the park in the city of Rajkot in Gujarat state.

Police Commissioner Raju Bhargava said the fire was now under control and rescue work was underway. The bodies were difficult to identify because they were so badly charred, police officer Vinayak Patel said.

Bhargava. the police commissioner, said that police were working to determine the cause of the fire.

"We will be registering an offense for negligence and the deaths which have occurred. Further investigation will take place once we complete the rescue operation," he said.

The amusement park was privately owned by Yuvraj Singh Solanki.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote on X that he was “extremely distressed by the fire... in Rajkot. My thoughts are with all those who have lost their loved ones. Prayers for the injured.”

Why would we compare it against an average coder?

ChatGPT wants to be a coding aid/reference material. A better baseline would be the top rated answer for the question on stackoverflow or whether the answer exists on the first 3 Google search results.

Everyone should have to sand a piece of wood to within spec at least once in their life.

Measure twice; consider a finer grain of sandpaper; sand once.

Repeat 500 times.

Don’t blame the devs.

It’s the execs and PMs who have other priorities.

I’ve been asking why cars don’t have more obvious visual indicators since I was like 8 years old.

It’s pretty weird that we’re basically just working with 2 sets of lights and blinkers at this point.

For AV’s specifically, a pretty significant/obvious missed feature is some indicator that the car “sees” you. Pedestrians make eye contact with drivers to check if crossing is safe. How is there no equivalent for AV’s??? It’s such an obvious miss.

It’s okay. I’ve misspelled “peek” as “peak” multiple times in the last week.

English just be like that.

Lot of armchair philosophists disagreeing with you, but you’re right.

Sure, some people make art for art’s sake. But it doesn’t put food on the table. Like it or not, most popular media is created at least in part as a source of income for the creator.

It’s fine to pirate things if you actually can’t/wouldn’t otherwise engage with the media. But at least be honest with yourself and recognize that you’re stealing income from the creator.
