Yeah, I've gotten a lot from free leech and then just leave it running all the time to get points for other books.

Amazed no one has mentioned MyAnonamouse. They have open sign ups pretty regularly, the best private tracker I've ever seen. Great for ebook and audiobooks both.

It's a guy named Markwayne Mullins who replaced him last year. I don't know much about him other than he's anti-abortion (all cases) and wanted to remove Trump's impeachments from the official record.

There might be a "fixed height" setting in the display settings.

I'm kinda surprised the article doesn't mention IONNA. I mean there's not a lot of meat there, but 7 major auto makers are planning a pretty significant increase to these stations (30k, and they're already starting in 2024). They're supposed to be pretty nice, with access to food, restrooms, etc. similar to a normal gas station.

I'm smack dab in the middle of the Bible Belt in the US, where EVs are evil, but I rented an Ioniq 5 to test it out. Charging stations were by far the most anxiety-inducing part of the experience.

Slang that went something like "god damn!" -> "gyat damn!" -> "gyat!"

Generally said when you see a big booty.

As a counterpoint, I like it in video games for the same irl reason: it saves time.

I do love games where it feels alive when traveling on foot/horse/etc. but I would rather fast travel if I've already explored it, generally speaking.

What if I call it Tylenol but always buy the generic anyway?

People have lost trademark rights because it's too ubiquitous.

Aspirin was literally the brand name by Bayer but lost it.

People who had you listed will just see "Deleted Account" instead of your name, and a little ghost as your avatar.

They will still see your chat history though.
