Correction. English children will be taught this. Education is a devolved matter in the UK so this will not apply to the other parts of the UK

Coffee. There are a couple of Lemmy communities but none of them are that active. Reddit had r/coffee and r/espresso that were both fairly active

For espresso machines I would recommend Gaggia. I bought one that was at least third hand and from 2000. It still works great and if anything breaks all the parts can be bought online
