Are you using a VPN to connect to your devices at home? I have a similar setup, when I'm away from home, I connect via Tailscale (a version Wireguard VPN) and keep all notes in sync.

In Joplin I use the WebDAV connection to store files on my server at home.

I'm not japanese but I want to travel there. We've discovered Takeshii from Japan on YouTube a while ago and I think he is doing a good job in capturing some opinions around different aspects of living in Japan. I'd say it's worth checking.

My wife and I started to drink Oolong GABA green tea for a few years now as an afternoon habit. We both enjoy it. No caffeine, but γ-Aminobutyric acid which ought to be healthy. However, we drink it mostly to take a break and enjoy the taste. Compared to black teas this tea isn‘t strong in taste but rich in flavour regardless. For me personally it made my tasting sense become more sensitive and appreciative over small nuances in flavour.

Got it. Thank you

I have a question about the work profile: would it make sense to isolate the PlayStore too, as it‘s google? Because this is the main painpoint for me, as I cannot move to a custom rom with my phone currently

I would agree that the tool you use has the most impact. I really like this one. For me it works way better than the one in your picture.

Maybe ask Paul Watzlawick. Or since he died in 2007, you can read one of his very entertaining books.

Please do. Maybe you‘ll find something useful. I found radicale working best for me (it was easy to install and selfhost). Selfhosting covers many topics, so it‘s difficult to share additional links here. But if you do a websearch, you should find good tutorials. Try to host in the local network first, and install a VPN to access services like CalDAV or CardDAV on the road. This will keep you from spending time on additional security considerations when hosting something on a public accessible host, which can be overwhelming when still being at the beginning.

Do you mean something like CalDAV? There are some solutions listed on the awesome-selfhosted github list

If you are already using proton mail, there is proton drive. For docs… maybe Libreoffice, or Cryptpad or any selfhostable options?
