Has there ever been a time kbin.social didn't do that from time to time?

You understand that’s not a selling point, correct?

Hilariously, I got an error message trying to load the notification for your comment.

And as I’ve said before, I can put up with wonkiness. But I can’t put up with no communication and not knowing what all is wrong or how long things are going to be messy. I like kbin, but I do not like wondering if social is going to go belly up with no warning and no idea when it’ll get fixed when it did start erroring out for days and no way to find out what’s even going on.

A sixth-grade girls' basketball team from northern Kentucky was banned from a boys' basketball league after romping through the regular season to reach the championship. The squad from Next Level Girls Basketball notched a 7-1 record in a city-wide basketball league run by Southwestern Ohio Basketball and was preparing for the championship when league president Tom Sunderman notified the athletic academy that it would be too risky to let them play for the title, reported WVXU-FM.

Agreed with all of this.

Under Trump, the White House Medical Unit was “like the Wild West,” and staffers had easy access to powerful stimulants and sedatives, sources say.

The site errored out repeatedly when I tried to like a comment, so “robust” is not the word I’m thinking right now.

The fact that we’re sitting here theorizing where Ernest is like he’s Kate Middleton is why this can’t be a one-man operation anymore. It’s too much for one person to begin with, and when people have no idea what’s going on, they’ll start going wild with theories as to what’s going on.

That’s about where I am, honestly. I’m starting to look for alternatives.

I can deal with the site having the occasional problem, but I can’t deal with absolutely no communication at all when things break down. Kbin has gotten too big to be a one-person operation.

This is now the fourth post I’ve seen about people starting to get fed up, and honestly, you know people are starting to hit their limits once people start making posts about their frustrations. I bet a lot of folks have just quietly given up or moved to lemmy or mbin because they’ve gotten frustrated with all the issues.

I’m a pretty patient person and can put up with a lot of goofiness on a site, as long as there’s some kind of communication happening. But there’s none.

Which is exactly what the Republicans wanted.

I don’t actually mind stuff not getting seen, it’s more not knowing if the site is going to error out when I try to look at it or check replies. Trying to access the site, or trying to upvote things, and getting error messages that are less than useful gets old fast.

I really like kbin, but honestly, with as unstable as it is and how little information is coming out about what’s going on (seriously, there needs to at least be a Mastodon account we can check for updates or information when kbin social is down), I’m seriously considering making a lemmy account and moving over. It’s frustrating, because I do really prefer kbin, but this is beyond frustrating.

Why would they? What Nintendo is doing works really well for Nintendo. They’re over 100 years old (which is considered a young company in Kyoto!) and are not about chasing the best and shiniest, but what works best for their continued long-term survival. They will always do their own thing and at their own pace.

Please try to be a serious person.

I never once claimed to be a “victim,” so don’t put words in my mouth. But racism is real and it happens, no matter how much some folks really want to pretend it’s just folks looking to be “victims.”

Dude is literally the same color as I am, a light-skinned Black person, going by the picture, and yes, I’ve had clerks follow me in stores and white women clutch their purses when I pass, and every man in my family, all of whom are that color, have a “being pulled over by the cops” story, so I’m not exactly sure what you’re trying to do here.
