Do you not watch or enjoy any of the movies that Harvey Weinstein had his name or company attached to? Cuz it's a shit load of films and stuff you are saying people shouldn't be allowed to enjoy without being judged for it because that guy was a monster.

It's a game show. The contestants are all competing for a prize. Why is the term game show so offensive to you haha

I understand where you're coming from and it's refreshing seeing someone have the empathy you do for people suffering with NPD. Having any type of mental illness though isn't an excuse or good enough reason to treat people the way he does, or to damage or harm others like a lot of NPDs do. It's unfortunate their mental illness can screw up and damage the lives of so many other people around them. I find it difficult to sympathize with them.

I haven't had a FB account in years, but a friend has been on it for nearly 2 decades. They said there's no longer any posts from people on their Friends lists, it's become nearly all ads/spam as they scroll.

I am currently ttc and they made me get tested to see how my antibodies were for measles, mumps and rubella (and some other diseases we were vaccinated against in childhood). My rubella antibodies were pretty much non existent now. It can wear off over the decades. Was told I should get the MMR booster before becoming pregnant. So I guess maybe its not a bad idea for us adults to get our antibodies tested, or maybe go ahead and get the booster if its available in your country or area if you are in your thirties or older. Especially since a bunch of parents are no longer vaccinating their children, the herd immunity isn't protecting those who either were unable to get vaccinated or the antibodies from infection/vaccination have worn off. My stepfather completely lost his hearing in his right ear because he got measles as a boy (before the vaccine was created). So even ignoring the horrible painful rash you get, it can also make you deaf, blind, or kill you. A lot of us have forgotten how damaging these diseases can be, we've been spoiled by our vaccine protection. Even if you got your MMR shots as an infant it does wear off and you will no longer be protected by herd immunity.

edit: i wrote father in law instead of stepfather

I read it all. Why do the emojis offend you so much? They're just tiny pictures.

A venti 591ml caffe latte from Starbucks is about 8.08$cdn before tax or tip. I don't go to Starbuck much anymore.

Where I live, it's currently $4Cdn for a loaf of basic white Wonder bread, it's $8.50Cdn for a stick of salted butter, and $5.50Cdn for a pack of 22 slices of processed cheese (not the thick slice type). My country is currently going through a bit of a cost of living crisis because shelter, heating, food costs are becoming insane. How much are those things where you live? I think it's interesting the differences based on where we all are. 1$ for an entire grilled cheese sandwich in Canada would be considered an incredible deal for takeout food pricing.

Why are you clicking and opening people's image or video files even if they're right on their desktop? I doubt that's part of the repair troubleshooting you are supposed to be doing. You shouldn't be clicking on their images or videos even if they are easily accessible.
