As a guy with Mottephobia, good. As a guy whose planet depends on healthy ecosystems, fuck.

Oddly enough I'm the thrower-outer, sometimes it gets so cluttered in our small apartment I go on a cleaning/donation spree.

Well fuck. I'd have been okay not knowing this.

Same here, I still do a lot of complex problem solving and modeling but excel/python handles a lot of the dirty work for me.

Try smaller businesses maybe? Corporate isn't for everyone.

I got hired for two simple tasks and quickly realized the company (being small) was lacking in a lot of areas I specialize in or am passionate about. I started doing all these extra things and I got a lot of recognition and $$$ in return. I also don't hate my job, it's a small team and we all get along great.

Thanks crossword puzzles!

These come up pretty often for some reason.

Or you type into Google "what's the song that goes dun dundun dooo dodododo dooo" and you somehow get the right result because some other monkey asked the same question on a message board and by some stroke of luck got an answer.

This worked for the funeral dancing song because I couldn't remember what it was from but it was stuck in my head for a week.

Yeah I had a slight leg up I worked as a CNA in the trauma/burn ICU all through college so a lot of practical skills were second nature but yeah we were expected to know a lot of things that weren't taught in lecture or practicals.

Bless you, I got a useless degree and went back to school in my late 20s to get my RN I did one semester and dropped out because it was so awful.

Nursing instructors eat their own, it was a terrible experience. It wasn't humbling but humiliating. I stumbled into success in business but I still think about nursing school a lot. One of my realest failures where I straight up tapped out.

I assumed just German memes but I was always afraid to ask on Reddit. Is there a specific style of humor, or jokes about things only Germans would understand?
