It seems like the Android native app opens all links in my default browser instead of the internal one? Is that what's expected? I don't see anything in the settings about that.

The iOS Native App does this too and it suuuuuucks. Every single link I click on opens a new tab in my browser and I either need to remember to manually close them before hitting the tiny little back button in the top corner or I end up with a laundry list of every single thing I clicked on as open tabs in my browser the next time I open it.

This is on my (admittedly very short) list of things that they are going to have to fix pretty darn soon if I’m going to keep using the app. Almost every other gripe I have with this app is relatively minor, but this one isn’t. At least not to me.

If you click on the link in your main feed it will open Safari. But if you open the post first, and then click on the link, it'll open in a in-app browser.

You're in compact view, right? I'll fix this in next release

I have a different opinion: using the in-app browser sucks, especially on iOS. That’s the reason a lot of people have the Screen Time 24 -hour bug, it’s because iOS sometimes likes to keep that crap running and messes with the screen time results πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Hence the reason why I avoid in-app browser whenever possible!

Wait … how do you have the native app on iOS?! Is there a TestFlight link you could share?
