Russian is a music, a food, a sense of style, a story. Russian is culture not the current tyrany.

Why let the fascists steal that from the people? I understand your sentiment but I'll be honest it enrages me.

It's like a person saying that any black that doesn't join a gang isn't really black. They can't see a non-violent black as a member of that race. You ignore the problem in favor of factionalism. Black people are not inherently violent, it's an economic and political situation. Apply the same logic to Russians. See the obvious reasons for the current situations. It's not the people, it's their tyrant. A tyrant they cannot choose.

Black does not mean the worst of their people, Russian does not mean the worst of theirs. It's a signifier of culture, and ethnic origin. That is all

I have no problem with ethnic Russians. This is often tied to their nationality though, which muddies the water. The history and the fact they are the aggressors make it very difficult for me to see things otherwise. I know the individual doesn't have the power to change things and I have no solution. You can be enraged by me for treating them "Guilty until proven innocent", but the circumstances we are in is not good.
