I'm going to be skeptical of came to me in a dream unless it's some intrapersonal revelation. But then I'm skeptical of scientific research until I understand how the data was produced.

Funny thing, some scientific discoveries came to the scientists in a dream

But then those would only be the hypotheses, they would have to test those "revelations" and analyze the results of those tests to get a conclusion. And that's science, my friend.

Dream a hypothesis that gets confirmation is pretty cool tho.

Yes, but at the time the discovery was a hypothesis. The scientist then tested that hypothesis to see if the model worked.
