Eh. Society can adapt. But, it doesn't have to. The Amish are a thing, after all. And so are America's car-centric cities when high speed rail exists.

That's an ideological mindfuck. There was a post on TerribleFacebookMemes about a fundie saying that there aren't autistic persons among Amish because they don't vaccinate. At certain extremes, logic in ideology breaks down.
