Why does the feed drop before impact? Are these vehicles equipped with short-range jammers?

they have jammers, but i think most of the time the feed transmission lags and when it explodes the last bit isn't transmitted yet.

The signal is also being obscured by the ground/trees at that point in the flight path as well. I don't believe many of these use signal relays.

It seems Ukraine has stopped pushing hard for further gains in Kursk for the time being, but if they manage to keep the river blocked, they might just starve out the isolated troops and make another big grab in a week or two...
