maybe not constantly, but you have a point

well of course. there are preppers and other people who always expect the worst. everyone is different and when you make such a comment the ones who are prepared feel disrespected, even if they are not the biggest group in those countries. a lot of people live there and even relatively small groups can nominally have tens or hundreds of thousands of people.

Well, if the companies didn't get their stuff out after the Crimea shit, that's entirely on them. If you deal with occupiers, don't be surprised if they steal from you. It's just a pity it can help putin a bit. I hope it's not much use to him.

Of course they do. There is no actual rule to it. You just have to know. Often words ending in "er" are male, but not all of them. It's one of the reasons German is so difficult. Just avoid it. English is easy and efficient.

things that differ between distros, because everyone thinks they can do it better than others: multimedia and sound, firewall config, service management, different init systems, switching default when multiple packages provide the same feature and are installed in parallel, config file migration during updates, making and installing your own custom kernel, selection of free games available.

if putin would be in the kremlin during the attack, he wouldn't be able to use it for propaganda ☠ but I doubt he's in there often. probably hiding most of the time, then do a few surprise appearances so he can't get ambushed.

they have jammers, but i think most of the time the feed transmission lags and when it explodes the last bit isn't transmitted yet.

You mean the one that was clearly male?

yeah, burning and saving is probably not the same. /dev/sr0 is just a so called device node. it is a special file with two numbers that are an interface to control the drive. if this file gets borked (eg. replaced by a disk image) you can recreate it using the numbers with mknod, or likely udev or something will recreate it at boot when all the hardware is detected, which triggers events to create them.

i remember vaguely there used to be links to the proper device nodes being created, usually called /dev/cdrw or /dev/cdrom maybe check for those, preferably rw and maybe yours is dvdrw or so.

good luck

Just the o changes to p which is also next in the alphabet

I saw this funny code block I linked, but it's missing a dollar sign when viewed in Sync.

I don't even know where to report bugs and if its github I won't because github is becoming cancer and i deleted my account.
