you don't know how close I am to coming out to my dad for this exact this reason, mf asks me to come upstairs just because he doesn't want to learn use the printer, or some other basic shit that takes 15 seconds

I love being family&friends tech support. Someone asks why their PC isn't booting and it turns out they dropped a desktop while on and just didn't think to mention it. Or the other case where I had to salvage parts from a dev workstation that had been thrown out a window by a developers mother.
