Not really, but sort of? So it is wise to use a mild antiseptic after you shave, even if you don't get irritated skin. Realistically if you're wallet isn't packed it can be one of the first things to go, easy.

Welcome to the truth about university. It gives you more debt than you can handle, and a job that doesn't pay enough.

Depends on where you were in the 80s and 90s. If you were in America, the future EU, or Eastern Asia, for example, those were great times. If you were in Rwanda, Bosnia, or Afghanistan (The Soviet-Afgan war) I doubt many people call that peak humanity.

Just gave me an idea, make a deadpool on what species will replace humanity. I'll just hold onto the pot until we find out what species wins.

What if God was one of us?

They are not the only person who uses the words for each other. When I was doing my undergrad I found that myself and my fellow students used them pretty loosely goosey. As a native English speaker I've never had any difficulty telling which way a speaker intended labor and work to mean. The context provided enough. I can see how for people who are not native English speakers, but this isn't an academic institution. In casual conversation either or are appropriate.

Good plan A.

For a plan B, If your parents don't understand why privacy is important on the internet they probably won't understand why the echos in your room don't seem to work. Say it's wifi can't reach the router, bend the cable so many times the wires break, "accidentally" become super clumsy with it and knock it over a bunch. This is absolutely a first world problem, it requires a first world solution.

And sometimes I just want to sow chaos.

The anecdotal odds are that you are living in a simulation though. I mean the simple math says that your odds are 1 over one whole value in infinity that you're not. It's just likely that whole value = 1.

Okay all true, but the VP is still a pretend job. Maybe not as much as it was before but the VP doesn't actually have very much power. Unless the president is ~~article 12'd~~ amendment 25'd.

This is the best idea. Just talk to them, best case they'll help you with it, worst case is they'll give you a talking to. Going around IT's back is a very good way to get fired really quickly.

Realistically, it's only a matter of time until Steam becomes as enshittificated as any other services. There is profit to be made from Steam selling advertising space and customer data. They can either choose to capitalize on the profits that are in front of them, or allow another company to and take that capital from them. For a business it's not a matter of what's right and wrong anymore but consume or be consumed. If Steam isn't willing to do that someone else will be willing to play the long game and do it. Then it'll be only a matter of time until Steam gets acquired by another company and then it's game over.
