I smoked crack in my teens. I think it’s an unfair stigma to judge crack worse than cocaine - even though I know you’re not proclaiming that or anything.

I haven’t kept up with anything chiptune related in prob 10 years or so, so no I am not too familar with any new tools for the GB. I did enjoy making music on it though. It fun to work creatively when there are a bunch of limitations!

Do you make Gameboy music though? I used to really be into LSDJ. I know nothing about programming actual games though

That’s the plan! I read it originally to quit cigs but ended up picking up the vapes.

I made it a month once. It’s really seated as more of a psychological addiction for me. I am going to try reading Allen Carr’s “The Easy Way” for quitting vaping to see if I can start the brainwashing process of not “needing” this fix.

Vaping nicotine. I know I can stop but it’s just a very difficult challenge for me. Still better than smoking cigs but I really need to let this vice go.

If I am going to interpret your question verbatim, I would feel pretty confident in saying 99.9% of phone calls will traverse a VoIP trunk when they are connected. Does that mean it’s a VoIP call?

You have to remember the Public Switched Telephone Network is a bunch of different phone providers interconnected through all kinds of different protocols. Anytime you’re making a phone call, it’s going to hit a VoIP trunk at some point regardless if you’re calling from one of the few true analog lines left.

And as many pointed out in this thread, even if you have an analog line at your home or office, the chances are pretty high it is just a “handoff” that is probably connected to a VoIP device right on the other side - whether it’s at your site or at the providers central office.

There are still true copper lines and T1s out there but providers really want to get out of that space and are jacking up the rates for these services so high that it is forcing people to move dedicated VoIP service.

Side rant: I just really wish fax machines would go away. They are a challenge sometimes to get them working over a VoIP connection…

And they all have cars that contribute to our THUNDERDOME traffic situation these days. I legit don’t even like driving anywhere in the metroplex these days out of safety concerns.

I’m a political lurker for sure. I want to read about people’s ideas - even if they challenge my own. However, I don’t like to debate or have many in depth political conversations myself.
