It’s a skill that has to be developed in some more than others, and it was a key part of my training as a scientist. • Vacation is accumulated at an embarrassingly slow rate, especially for newer employees.
• pension. Right, but there are similarly no stock options or significant performance bonuses you find in the private sector
• you’d be surprised at the work schedules for government employees who aren’t admin assistants

Pretty neat. This isn’t my area of expertise but I’ve been digitizing some of my families old home movies. The quality is obviously not great, so it’s interesting to hear there may be a reasonable way to improve them.
